This casserole is marked “Handy Andy” in the mold in capital letters. The glaze is in a dark red/tomato orange which is commonly found on some California potteries. The finial is a solid sundail type and the base has two rings. The maker and production date for this piece is unkown.

J. Schiltz, jaydi adds:

"...I don't know for sure, but there's a grocery chain in the San Antonio, TX area called Hand Andy and it's possible this was a premium. It could have been made by Alamo Pottery..."
