This 6" plate was made by the Edward J. Owen China Company of Minerva, Ohio in 1922.
The "Gold Medal" backstamp is in reference to their gold medal win for semiporcelain
at the Louisiana Purchase Exposition in St. Louis in 1904. For more information on
