OhioRiverPottery.com -- An American Dinnerware Identification Web Site

This Nautilus Eggshell shape dinner plate by Homer Laughlin was decorated with two popular decals. The pastel floral rim pattern was commonly used on Nautilus Eggshell and sold as, "Nantucket." The center figures were used on the Rhythm shape in a line called, "Provincial." The two decals have been brought together in this unique plate. The decorator wrote along the verge in gold: God Bless Our Mortgaged Home.
