Eggshell Nautilus Plate with “Decal Test”

The decal on this Eggshell Nautilus plate is called, “Colonial Kitchen.” It has been
documented as being found on the Virginia Rose, Rhythm, Liberty and Swing shapes.

This particular plate must have been one of the first Eggshell Nautilus pieces to recieve the
treatment since it has under the galze: Decal Test, N-1747, 2-26-51. The “N-1747” is
the official number for the decal on this shape and 2-26-51 is the date. The date code
on the backstamp of the plate is: A (January) 51 (1951) N 6 (plant 6.)
