OhioRiverPottery.com -- An American Dinnerware Identification Web Site
One of the downfalls about writing on something that's in production is that the material is subject to become outdated. This is the case with two new Fiesta items that I wrote about in the book, Collecting Fiesta, Lu-Ray & Other Colorware. Fortunately, I can make use of this web site to update certain information. Below are images from the book:

On the left is the cappuccino mug or "new latte" mug. I wrote that it was originally made in 1998 but ended up being shelved. However, it was recently put into production.

To the right is a trivet featuring a dancing lady. This was made several years ago as a trivet for the wooden tray shaped like a disc pitcher. Instead an overseas trivet was used. Like the new mug, this too is now being offered by Homer Laughlin through various retailers. I have seen several of the trivets that were made several years ago in the secondary market. These have a dry or unglazed reverse so that they could be glued to the wooden tray. The trivets being made now have glazed reverses and are marked, "Fiesta."
