| Produced in the mid 1990s, Lilac was the first of Homer Lauglin's limited edition colors for the new Fiesta line. There were some pieces of Fiesta which were introduced after lilac was retired. One of them was the carafe. Though it wasn't a standard production item, some can be found on the open market. Below is a lilac carafe which is on display at HLC.

Notice the teapot with the hole on top of the finial. This was
probably one of the first teapot lamp bases, since the hole at the
spout isn't filled in. The teapot lamp base is another non-
standard lilac item. |
