Here are some familiar Fiesta shapes in non-standard glazes. (Note: these are trial glaze items even though they may look like vintage rose on your monitor.)

The owner of the shakers and plate descirbes the colors as “... a pretty brown, lighter than amberstone...” What is doubly unusual are the shakers which have 9 holes. Regular Fiesta shakers have 7 holes.

When I frist saw this group of images, I thought they might be in “Rose Ebony,” one of many experimental glazes. The color for this sugar and creamer set has been described to me as, “...a chocolate brown over red, the inner part of the rings appears red.”

The sugar is the so called “experimental” flat-bottom version. Its called a flat bottom due to its flat inside bottom which was changed quite early to a rounded bottom due to a change in production.
