This article comes from a late 1930s trade journal. It shows several miniatures made by
the Chic Pottery Company of Wellsville, Ohio. The elephant (second row) is often found
in the Fiesta-like glazes listed in the ad: blue, green, yellow and red. As a result,
many collectors mistakenly identify them as Homer Laughlin products.
